About Us

”We believe that every person should be given every opportunity to fulfil their God given potential.”

Mission Statement

Who we are

Strong Nation Church strongly believes that God has called us to make a difference in our community.  We believe that it is not enough just to be faithful believers in Christ but that we should be faithful followers and doers of His word.

Strong Nation Community is the community arm of Strong Nation Church. Formerly known as Hawkesbury Community Services, this organisation has provided a variety of support and services to members of our community who found themselves in need of support at difficult times in their lives.

Strong Nation Community provides a diverse range of projects/ services to our local community, with a particular focus on disadvantaged, vulnerable or geographically isolated groups. It is our mission to enable members of the community to reach their full potential by meeting their identified needs in a relevant and effective manner.

Over the years we have developed strong links with other local organisations and works collaboratively with them to strengthen and improve the delivery of community services in the Hawkesbury.

We gratefully acknowledge the following Federal and State Government Departments that have provided funding contributions towards the delivery of our projects:

  • NSW Department of Community Services
  • Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
  • Department of Health & Ageing
  • Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations

from the Board

To our volunteers,

We gratefully acknowledge you, thank you and cannot begin to express our deep gratitude for your faithfulness, your diligence & your loyal commitment to your (our) community!

The impact you have had on our local community is evident by the feedback we have received from all our clients over this past year.

May God continue to bless you, abundantly.

from the Chairman

Another year and another fantastic report from Strong Nation Community, (formerly known as Hawkesbury Community Services). We have seen enormous fruit for good, strong labour. Our staff have excelled, as have our volunteer army. Our leadership team has steered our organisation with confidence and laser-like focus. One highlight this year is the unity of our team. This has allowed each member to function at a higher level; moving forward as one team. This is a huge reflection of the leadership;  amazing leaders with great vision and huge skills that passes on to their team through daily participation.

I wish to thank our partner organisations, Wesley Mission; Mission Australia and The NSW Department of Family and Community Services for all their support and believing in us. Finally, I want to give glory to God for all that we have been able to achieve this year. His blessings undergird all the financial support we receive from partner organisations, along with the hard working team He has brought together.
